Uplifting the socio-economic as well as the intellectual and emotional competencies of the juveniles through the means of architecture by the creation of child-friendly spaces and environments.
The 6-acre land with abundant greenery allows for a design concept of interior and exterior relation which is important for the juveniles, to help them prepare and look forward to life outside, in the real world.

The design will incorporate the spaces important to develop the basic skill set to lead a life as a law-abiding citizen. Providing juvenile delinquents with better habitable spaces, encouraging them to educate themselves by the means of interactive learning. The resoluteness of the world which aims at the interior is partly removed. New and more intensive interaction with the surrounding nature is aimed at youngsters. An open structure that stimulates the daily shifts between living, learning, and recreation.

The design should not express permanency but the opposite: it is an expression of
temporality, like the stay of the youngsters.
The concept aims at an open, transparent building between the closed reformatory and the outside world. Visitors can throw a glance at prison life and the youngsters can look outside, the society to which they will return later on.
